[ARCHIVED] National Ground Water Awareness Week

Water cycle

Groundwater is the world’s most extracted raw material with withdrawal rates in the estimated range of 259 trillion gallons per year.

This usage is by more than 13.2 million US households and 33% of US municipalities that get their water supply from groundwater!

If you remember the water cycle the water we use does eventually get returned.

Conservation will help ensure that the groundwater is there to keep life flowing for years to come!
