[ARCHIVED] Veterans Thanksgiving Baskets Available for Lenawee County Veterans

Veterans Thanksgiving Baskets

The Lenawee County Department of Veterans Affairs is pleased to share information from our community partners at the Veterans Community Action Teams (VCAT) about a special holiday opportunity for local veterans.

If you are a Lenawee County veteran in need of a meal this Thanksgiving, you can receive a FREE Thanksgiving food basket for veterans and their families. Each basket will include a boneless turkey breast, mashed potatoes, gravy, butter, rolls, stuffing, vegetables, and other various goodies—everything needed for a traditional Thanksgiving meal at home.

These baskets are available for veteran families experiencing financial need, and supplies are limited. Distribution will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tuesday, November 25
3:30–5:30 PM
American Legion Post 97
904 N. Main Street, Adrian, MI

RSVP Deadline:

Please RSVP by Tuesday, November 11 to reserve your basket.
