[ARCHIVED] Department of Veterans Affairs Launches Lenawee VetSource

Lenawee VetSource

The Lenawee County Department of Veterans Affairs is pleased to announce the creation of Lenawee VetSource, a new monthly email newsletter for Lenawee County veterans and their dependents. The newsletter will contain events, opportunities, updates, and resources from Veterans Affairs and other veteran organizations for Lenawee County veterans.

“We are very excited to launch this new way to communicate with our local veterans,” said Tammy Sheldon, Veterans Service Officer/Director. “We often get news and updates through the federal Veterans Affairs office and we feel this will be a great way to share them with all our veterans.”

Veterans and their family members are urged to sign up for the email newsletter to stay updated on programs and services that can benefit them.  Residents can sign up by calling 517-264-5335, emailing veterans.affairs@lenawee.mi.us, or visiting here.

Our veterans are the heroes in our county, and the Lenawee County Department of Veterans Affairs is committed to taking care of them. By providing emergency relief, transportation to medical appointments, and assisting with claims processing, we won’t let our veterans down.
