Lenawee County Prosecuting Attorney Appointed

The Lenawee County Prosecuting Attorney's Office is announcing that Jacqueline V. Wyse has been appointed by the Circuit Court Judges to serve the remainder of the term left by the resignation of Prosecuting Attorney, R. Burke Castleberry, Jr.

Ms. Wyse became an attorney in May 2014, and briefly ran her own practice prior to accepting a position with the Prosecutor's Office in October 2015. She has served in the roles of Assistant Prosecutor, Senior Trial Prosecutor, and Chief Assistant Prosecutor, prior to her appointment by the Lenawee County Circuit Court Judges to Prosecuting Attorney, effective November 2, 2022.

Ms. Wyse was sworn in by the Lenawee County Clerk on November 1, 2022. She accepted the appointment with overwhelming support from the Prosecutor's Office staff and the law enforcement community. She looks forward to continuing to serve the citizens of Lenawee County.
