Starting September 1, per the FDA, the health department will not be providing COVID-19 booster shots until the new updated booster vaccine is available. Our COVID-19 vaccine walk-in clinics will remain open, however, we will not be providing booster shots until we receive the updated booster vaccine. We anticipate receiving the updated booster vaccine in the next couple of weeks. Once it is available, we will provide that information on our website and social media. The updated booster vaccine, which is also called a bivalent vaccine, will provide protection against the widely circulating Omicron variant.
