Unfortunately, the County recycling drop off site will be closed beginning 3/1/22 until further notice.

Although the new compactor system is working as anticipated, plastic items that would not fit in the openings, were in some cases left curbside.  We cannot manage the site when materials are left curbside; therefore, the site will remain closed until the openings can be reconfigured.   

Bulk plastic items, such as toilet seats or toys, are just not accepted at our site.  A list of acceptable items can be found the Solid Waste page of the County website.  www.lenawee.mi.us 

We want to be able to offer a service that is safe, clean, and easy to use.
