[ARCHIVED] Updated COVID-19 Quarantine and Isolation Guidance

Recently, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) changed their quarantine and isolation guidelines for individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19.

The Lenawee County Health Department (LCHD) has updated the county’s COVID-19 quarantine and isolation guidelines to reflect the recommendations of the CDC. Please note that these recommendations are for the general population and certain settings such as schools, health care facilities, and childcare settings may have additional guidance.

Our updated guidelines include information for vaccinated and non-vaccinated individuals and recommendations for testing, mask-wearing, and isolation timelines if you test positive or are exposed to someone with COVID-19. These guidelines can be found in our PDF here and are subject to change at any time.

On November 19, 2021, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) issued a Public Health Advisory for all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, to wear a mask while in indoor public settings. This Public Health Advisory is still in effect.
