Lenawee County Board of Health Will Not Discuss or Vote Regarding Mask Recommendation in K-12 Schools
September 13, 2021
At the regularly scheduled Board of Health meeting on September 15th, the Lenawee County Board of Health will not be discussing or voting on the recommendation concerning masking for Lenawee County K-12 schools. Chairperson John Tuckerman stated, “The volume of information provided to the board during and subsequent to the special meeting on September 8th, is something that each board member needs time to review and give proper consideration”.
Chairperson Tuckerman has removed the item from the September 15th agenda and the board will not discuss it and will not bring the issue to a vote. When the board has had time to review the information related to this matter, the question may come back before the board at a future meeting. Any such discussion will be noted in the appropriate agenda.
The regular meeting of the Lenawee County Board of Health will be held at 4pm at the Agricultural Hall at the Lenawee County Fairgrounds, located at 602 N. Dean St, Adrian, MI.
