[ARCHIVED] Additional Employees of Long Term Care Facilities Test Positive for COVID-19

One additional employee of Lenawee Medical Care Facility has tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total to 6 employees of the facility who have tested positive. Additionally, the first COVID-19 positive employee has been reported at Lynwood Manor Healthcare Center.

All residents and employees have been and continue to be monitored for symptoms of COVID-19. These facilities continue to work closely with the Lenawee County Health Department to ensure residents and staff are safe by following Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Guidelines.

This is another reminder that COVID-19 is present in our community. The Lenawee County Health Department urges all residents to practice prevention strategies to protect the most vulnerable members of our community such as; avoiding crowds and gatherings, wearing cloth face coverings when in all enclosed public spaces and when outdoors if unable to maintain 6 feet of distance, washing hands frequently and staying home when sick.
