[ARCHIVED] Death of a Resident at Lenawee Medical Care Facility

The Lenawee County Health Department has been notified that a resident of Lenawee Medical Care Facility who previously tested positive for COVID-19 has died. “Our heartfelt sympathies and prayers go out to the family who has lost their loved one,” said Martha Hall, Health Officer at LCHD.

All residents and employees have been and continue to be monitored for COVID-19 symptoms. Lenawee Medical Care Facility continues to work closely with the Lenawee County Health Department to ensure the safety of residents and staff.


The Lenawee County Health Department urges residents to practice prevention strategies to protect the most vulnerable members of our community such as; avoiding crowds, maintaining 6-feet of distance from others not of their household, wearing cloth face coverings when in enclosed public spaces and when outdoors if unable to maintain 6 feet of distance from non-household members, washing hands frequently and staying home when sick.
