Lenawee County has continued to monitor the COVID-19 virus and has provided protective measures to help mitigate the transmission of COVID-19 in Lenawee County.
As we continue to evaluate and adjust our response, the safety of our residents and employees is of primary concern. Therefore, as we begin to reopen county buildings for services, we want to let you know what you can expect. We are committed to providing you county services while doing our part to stop the spread of this virus.
Airport
517-265-8993: The Airport is open by appointment only. Anyone entering the FBO will be screened by Airport personnel. This screening will including answering a series of questions, having your temperature taken, and wearing a face covering.
Annex Building
113 W. Front Street, Adrian, MI: Most of these offices are open to the public. The Public Defender’s Office is open by appointment only. Screening requirements are in place upon entering the building and prior to entering any of the offices. Screening includes answering a series of questions and having your temperature taken. Floors have been marked to allow for appropriate social distancing and wearing a face covering is required. The Annex Building contains the following offices:

Drain Commission Office
320 Springbrook, Suite 102, Adrian, MI - (517) 264-4696: The Drain Commission offices are opened by appointment only. When entering the office, you will be required by complete a questionnaire, have your temperature taken, and wear a face covering. Please arrive a few minutes early to complete this process.
Human Services Building
1040 S. Winter Street, Adrian, MI: These offices are slowly opening to the public. Some offices are open to the public while others are open by appointment only. Screening requirements are in place upon entering the building and prior to entering any of the offices. Screening includes answering a series of questions and having your temperature taken. Floors have been marked to allow for appropriate social distancing and wearing a face covering is required. Due to the large number of people entering this building, you will want to arrive early to allow time for the screening process. Maurice Spear Campus
2910 Airport Road, Adrian, MI - (517) 265-5171: Maurice Spear Campus is open by appointment only. Visiting face-to-face must be scheduled in advance until further notice – parents only. All visitors are subject to screening by Campus personnel. This screening consists of completing a health questionnaire, having your temperature taken, and wearing of a face covering. If you are a parent wanting to visit and are experiencing health problems, other arrangements can be made with communication devices such as phone calls or zoom visiting.
Medical Examiner’s Office
320 Springbrook, Suite 103, Adrian, MI - (517) 264-4760: The Medical Examiner’s Office is open by appointment only. Please call prior to arrival. All visitors are subject to screening by Medical Examiner staff.
Old Courthouse
301 N. Main Street, Adrian, MI: The offices in this building have been moved to the Annex Building at 113 W. Front Street, Adrian, MI. The Historic Courthouse is undergoing renovations and a construction fence has recently been installed around the property. Please bear with us during this construction phase.
Printing and Purchasing Department
320 Springbrook, Suite 104, Adrian, MI - (517) 264-4561: The Printing and Purchasing Department is open to the public. Screening requirements are in place upon entering the department. Screening includes answering a series of questions and having your temperature taken. Face coverings are required.
Rex B Martin Judicial Building (Courts)
425 N. Main Street, Adrian, MI: The Courts are slowly opening up. They are currently open by appointment only. Once they open to the public, they will be following the additional screening requirements outlined above.Traffic tickets can be paid by check or money order in the drop box; payable to 2-A District Court OR online at http://www.lenawee.mi.us/621/Pay-Online. Those on Probation should contact their individual Probation Officer for reporting information. Sheriff’s Office
405 N. Winter Street, Adrian, MI - 517-263-0524: The Sheriff’s Office is open to the public, however, they prefer appointments be made for business services such as fingerprinting and pistol purchase permits. A sanitation station has been set up at the entrance to the inner lobby that provides hand sanitizer and face coverings. Floors have also been marked to assure safe social distancing. All those entering the inner office must wear a face covering. People coming to use the outer lobby for breath test do not need to wear a face covering.
