Plastic Bags wreak havoc at the recycling plant!  

Plastic grocery bags are recyclable, but should be returned to retail centers - not at the RECYCLING DROP OFF SITE.

When people throw bags in the recycle bin they end up wreaking havoc on the machinery at the recycling center.  Workers have to shut down the facility to clean out all the bags that are jamming up the gears.

Feel free to bring your stuff in a plastic bag, just take the bag home with you.  #RecycleMI
