Lenawee County is pleased to announce that it has further enhanced the way the public can access meeting materials from their local county government. A new public portal for all meeting materials is now available through their website at lenawee.mi.us. This offers a significant upgrade, putting all agendas, packets, minutes, and videos in one easily accessible location, elevating the user experience.
“I’m very proud of this new website feature,” stated Kim Murphy, Lenawee County Administrator. “We’ve heard from the public loud and clear that they want to participate with their government in an easier manner. This initiative reflects our commitment to transparency and accessibility, empowering our community members to engage with local governance more effectively than ever before.”
You can access the public portal through Lenawee County’s website at lenawee.mi.us. The link is available in many locations including in the main menu and a button located on the front page. From there you can access any Lenawee County meeting. You can also create an account to sign up for subscriptions to get email notifications from the new system.
“One of our goals is to make civic engagement more accessible and inclusive,” stated Murphy. “With the launch of this new portal for meeting materials, we are taking significant steps toward fulfilling this commitment. We believe that by providing easy access to meeting materials, we are fostering greater accountability and participation in our community’s decision-making processes.”
Lenawee County invites all members of the public to explore the new portal located on their website at lenawee.mi.us. If you have any questions regarding the new system, please contact the County Administrator’s office at 517-264-4508 or county.administrator@lenawee.mi.us.
