Commencement

Commencement, also called Graduation, ceremony marks the end of Sobriety Court for a successful participant. Participants are awarded a completion certificate, a gift from the program, and acknowledgment of hard work. Participant, Judge, Probation Officer, Arresting Officer, Family, Friends, Sponsor, and other members of the community and Team are welcome to attend.

Post-Commencement

The participant will remain on a non-reporting status for the duration of their Probation or be released early if compliant. The participant is no longer required to report, attend court, or complete drug testing. Michigan Secretary of State will be notified of the program completion.
