Lenawee County Businesses and Operations that are open are to screen employees for symptoms of COVID-19 and implement a plan to provide at least 6 feet of space between employees, between employees and customers, and between customers and other customers.

Lenawee County Residents Have More Time to Pay Past Due 2017 Property Taxes

taxes and prevent their home from foreclosing after Governor Gretchen Whitmer issued an executive order extending the property tax foreclosure deadline to May 29, 2020.

Law Enforcement Response Information

As a result of the Governor’s Executive Order to “Stay at Home” we are
urging residents not to call 911 to advise us of persons who may not be adhering to the order. Our 911 Operators are extremely busy with high priority calls for service.

In compliance with Governor Whitmer’s executive order 2020-21, only essential
employees of the County will report to work commencing 12:01 am on March 24, 2020. Employees performing essential functions, who are able to work from home, will work from home.
