Chronic Pain Managment workshop Flyer

Region 2 AAA is partnering with the Family Medical Center to provide Chronic Pain PATH workshops on an ongoing basis to the Lenawee County community. These 6-week, Evidence-Based workshops are designed to help give people tools to better manage their chronic pain, and to feel more in control over the ways pain affects various aspects of life. They talk about things like how pain affects sleep, relationships, moods, energy, mobility, physical activity, and teach ways to help improve your quality of living. It has been proven effective in helping people better manage their pain. Participants who recently completed the workshop said “It’s a wonderful class!”, “It helped me feel like I’m not alone”, and ”I still have pain but am managing it better so it does not control my life.” Each 6-week workshop series is offered on Monday nights from 4-6:30pm. Space is limited to 16 participants and pre-registration is required. Call R2AAA to sign up for the next available workshop at 517-592-1974.
