Community Invitation!

Lenawee Co Government & the November Ballot

Earlier this year the Board of Commissioners requested that the Tax Allocation Board be called to review the finances of the county and other local governments within the county.  As a result, the Tax Allocation Board petitioned the Board of Commissioners to renew the 1968 tax limitation and that issue has been placed on the November countywide ballot.

Some may be aware that changes are coming to Lenawee County government programs and services, what changes implemented will be significantly affected by the decision voters make in November.

The County Administrator has prepared a presentation  on  the STRATEGIC VISION for all of Lenawee County; how Lenawee County is INVESTING in citizens, the community, and you; and the FUTURE direction of Lenawee County government.  Also included is information on the effects of Tax limitation ballot issue.

In order to keep Lenawee County residents better informed, visits have been scheduled with local municipalities, clubs, and organizations.  Municipal meetings are public meetings and anyone is welcome to attend.

Please consider attending a meeting near you!
