COVID-19 Update to County Services:

County Clerk/Vital Records

All offices are closed to the public in the Annex Building at 113 W. Front Street, Adrian, MI, which is the temporary location of several county departments including the County Clerk.

Services Available Online or by mail until the County Clerk’s office reopens:

  • Certified copies of birth, marriage, and death certificates
  • Application for Marriage License (refer to the County website or call for additional information).
  • Concealed Carry Weapon Permits renewals www.michigan.gov/cplrenewal
  • New CCL applications can be done online or by mail-in to the State
The County Clerk's Office oversees all records for births, deaths, marriages, assumed names, Circuit Court records, election information, notaries and concealed pistol license. In addition they take care of the County's payroll and accounts payable.
