Monthly Support group for Caregivers: This group meets the second Monday of each month from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm, at Daybreak. The Alzheimer’s Association sponsors this group, offering education and support at each meeting. Respite is available free of charge during this meeting at Daybreak Adult Day Services. Please reserve your spot by calling Daybreak at 266-2588.
Men’s Caregiver Support Group: This group meets the first Friday of each month from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm at Daybreak. This group is facilitated by a male counselor, who also has caregiving experience. The group is available for men to share their caregiving challenges and provide support. Respite is available free of charge by calling Daybreak Adult Day Services at 266-2588.
Lenawee Memory Café: A group started to allow those living with memory loss and their caregivers an opportunity to meet, share, learn and dine in a friendly environment. The group meets each month on the third Thursday of the month from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. A free meal is included with the group, so reservations are helpful – 517-266-2588.
Daybreak also houses the Bill McCartney lending library. The library has useful information about coping with dementia and Alzheimer's.
