Thanks for visiting Lenawee County's local government website. Lenawee County's 100,968 citizens are served by a nine-member Board of Commissioners. The County Administrator's Office was established in 1980 in a reorganization of the administrative structure to achieve efficiencies through coordination of County programs and through centralized direction of County internal functions.
The Office has three primary functions: provision of staff assistance to the County Commission and it's various Committees, communicating between the Commission and it's various program areas, and direction of County internal central services.

The Board of Commissioners is seeking nominations for representatives to fill two seats on the Mid-South Substance Abuse Advisory Council.

The Lenawee County Human Services Committee would like to remind you that the 2010 Census questionnaires will be mailed to every known address in the State of Michigan in March, 2010. It is imperative that Lenawee County residents be vigilant in completing the questionnaires and returning them to the Census Bureau.
